Title: ETKA Question (large photo, beware of size 56kers)

Does anyone here happen to have access to ETKA, by chance? I'm looking for an oddball part, and VAGCAT doesn't seem to have the part I'm looking for cataloged.

The part in question is:

The part number I have is 176.857.237

I'm assuming it has been superceded by something, but I'm not entirely sure, however, I need one because the one in my dash broke. Any suggestions anyone?

Vagcat won't have it. It's off a North American version of the Golf. They don't list ANY US-Specific parts.

from 1985-1992, all black interior parts were suffixed with 01C. So, your part number is actually:

176.857.237.01C

1stvwparts.com lists that as a viable part number, but they show it as discontinued. There may be some old stock somewhere, so try calling your local dealer and see if they can locate it on vwhub. Be sure to tell them to NOT look only in their local stock.

Awesome! That helps a lot. I prefer coming here because I know I'll get an answer instead of search, which I've already spent hours doing so.
