Title: Destroyed a Ford Explorer looool
Post by: 8v-of-fury on July 11, 2010, 12:46:16 pm
I had myself and my brother in the car, so about 440lbs of people, and the trunk full of crap (tents, coolers, chairs, mattresses. bags, pillows, bedding and trip cooler in the back seat) already on the highway, doing about 100 km/h she was in front. As I pulled out and beside her, with everyones windows down (hot day) just as I was dropping it down to 4th, like literally just as I clutched.. I heard her 4.0L begin its kickdown as she matted the pedal to foil my pass ;).

Not lettin that happen! I mashed it in to fourth keeping an eye on my rear-view as to not be spewing to much black goodness. Bot vehicles rocketed to life as they respectively hit their powerbands. Sadly the explorer has literally no power or torque up high as it couldn't even out-do a 1.6 N/a loaded with shhhtuff.

I will say this though, the ram/CAI has made a major improvement on top end power, no doubt. Next is exhaust, and she will be screaming!!

Not really a cool Kill story, but its still an N/a :P

It's now a big fine in Quebec if you speed up as someone is trying to pass you. I almost wish in my other reality ,I was a traffic cop in Quebec who got a commission for each ticket. I could have retired at 30.
