Switching from a 1.6NA to a turbo 1.6 I found my stock exhaust on my 1980 Caddy doesnt line up with the new turbo exhaust manifold. Does anyone have experience with this problem in their swap and possibly how they came up with a fix? Taking it to a muffler shop is the best idea i can come up with. I have the tools and time but not the exhaust experience to fix the problem myself, would prefer something more bolt on.

Ordered the front pipe for an 87 golf, we'll see if that works

Honestly, go to an exhaust guy and make it custom. Even if it may fit, you can run into leaks.

TT turbo downpipe is what you need.

For the price TT charges for that pipe you could get it done cheaper by going to a local exhaust shop and have them fabricate one up that would come with service after the sale as well. That is how I am doing the turbo on my 1981 Caddy. Guy in town quoted me about what the TT folks charge for their Caddy kit but it lacks the flange and flex joint in between.
