The title says it all preaty much.

81 Rabbit with 74k miles
A/C as well.
1.6 NA Diesel
4spd
Paint is faded and headliner is sagging.
Interior is really nice other than the headliner.

Took it for a drive today, ran really well, needs tires I can say that.
To make it a driver I would replace all the coolent hoses, timing belt, V belts, water pump, tires and batt. I think after that there is no reason you couldnt drive this car for a LONG time.


Body is rust free, windsield has a small crack about 2 inces long but the rest of the glass is good.

Been sitting for a long time but fired right up with some fuel. replaced fuel filter and dumped in some fuel and bang, running. Sounded really good which it should with 74k on it. looking inside the valve cover you would think it had never been ran, clean clean.

Located in Utah, Orem to be exact.

Why thank you for the kind words.

There is a slight possability I may do the timing belt toss on some new tires give it a good detailing and toss it on E Bay.

I'm going to give the vw boards a little time first though.

Kinda thinking of doing the work and driving it myself now.

Back up baby!!!

I'm going to be installing all new rubber on this thing (belt, hoses) hopefully this week so all it will need is tires to be ready to roll for a long time.
