Title: What are the differences between the AHU and AFM?

I have an AHU powered GTI (just finished the swap!) and i want to start tuning.  I know that the AFM got a larger VNT turbo. Was it pressure actuated? Was there a different exhaust manifold? Bottom end differences in the engine? Differences in the IC piping?

I want to do allot of tuning on my AHU and whatever upgraded OEM parts i can get my hands on i want!
