Title: Has anyone used a Blackstone SAAB IC on there 1.6td mk2???

Post by: lord_verminaard on October 08, 2009, 09:51:48 am: I've got one that I'll be using on the Wife's car. Have not mounted it yet. I did see a picture of someone else that used one, mounted it on the passenger side and it looked pretty good. I can't find the post now though.

My plan on mounting it is finding the easiest place to put it that will require the minimum amount of fooling around with intercooler piping. :)

I searched for that pic as well, couldn't find it either. I'll try again later. I don't remember the fella's screenname.

it was a pain to find them but there wants much info on the pages were they were found anyways, if there was i would have book marked them...

My saab has one. It kind of sucks. Gets heatsoaked pretty fast. I personally would probably not use it.

Post by: hamradio on October 08, 2009, 11:17:09 am: I guess if I was going through the effort of fitting an IC, I'd get an ebay one for ~$75 shipped. Or a dodge neon SRT4 one, which seems to be pretty decent.

Yea same here, I guess I keep an eye on kijiji and see if one of the guys down there can take a peek at it for me.
