Title: Now at 480,000

Just wanted to crow that my swapped in AHU has now hit 480,000 kms. Put  a new battery and fires up in -18 instantly. Now can't wait to do a cold and hot compression test this spring. certainly not a mileage  record, but pretty good for one that doesn't get babyed other than 3000- 4000 km T6 oil changes. Would like to make it to 800.000 but don't know if i'll be alive that long.

hey Caveman,

thats pretty good... do you still own all those other cars? I have no idea how you can put 480K on one car, if you still drive all the others!

No sold the stash. Kinda miss the Beetle, but not adjusting the Webers. But mostly regret selling the Transporter, it was such a tank and the girlfriend liked it because she felt safe and really hates the Mk3
