ive heard of this show for a couple years and in 2011 i went and had a great time.. they have a full campground with showers/restrooms..
my goal this year is to get 4-8 kubvans to show up.. but more is welcome..
the orginizer of this show does it all out of pocket.. so its a laid back bbq/drunk weekend. its more about the people and unique mk1 vws.. vs sponsor..

July 14th and 15th
You can show up Friday the 13th to camp but NOT before 12:00 noon
Saturday the 14th consists of food, cruises to Deutsche Classic and from there to Sonic as well as from the camp to Sonic bonfires and such. Possible cruise from Sonic as well. All info will be added as the cruises are mapped out.
Sunday the 15th is the show/swap portion. Registration starts at 10am and continues till approximately 1pm give or take (we're relaxed)
Sunday all campers must be out by 8:00 PM and the camp cleaned up. I will be working on securing hotel rooms at a discount (possibly paid for by me) for the long haulers who will leave Monday.
Few rules I want to put out there now.
NO HOT LAPS, SLOW LAPS NOTHING. (it's turning into too much nonsense)
LOUD NOISE ENDS AT 11PM PERIOD (YOU KNOW WHAT LOUD IS, DON'T BE STUPID)
IF ANONE TELLS YOU TO KEEP IT DOWN, DO IT, PERIOD
PLEASE NO LOUD MUSIC BEFORE 9:00 AM
NO FIREWORKS, PAINTBALL GUNS ETC
THERE WILL BE A NEW WAY TO GET FIREWOOD (NO GRABBING OFF THE PILE, IT GOT SLAUGHTERED LAST YEAR) BUT I WILL BE HANDLING IT PERSONALLY OR ONE OF MY VOLUNTEERS
Pre registration will open February 1st for camping/show/swap, paypal address is [email protected]
If you can send it as a gift to avoid paypal fees.
Also, you can pay upon arrival.
Camping $20 per person per night, heights sites are $25 (heights residences pretty much fill that up already)
Show is $10 to enter
Spectating is free
Swap is $15 used parts / $25 for new vendors
Firewood $5 for 10 pieces
Please specify what you are paying for in the notes and add your mailing address.
Last year was the first time I had any issues with people almost fighting/almost fighting and such. I WON'T STAND FOR THIS! I'm not your parents, if you can't handle yourself, drink too much, get pissed off for some reason and feel the need to fight then don't come at all. YOU MUST BE RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS AND DON'T CAUSE TROUBLE.
If you don't respect the rules I will make you leave immediately or if you're drunk/have been drinking the next morning you will be asked to leave. If you don't comply the police will be called and you will be escorted out.
I WILL NOT let this event be ruined by some people who can't handle themselves. If it does happen I will quit doing it altogether.
You are the community, it's your choice. (and I mean everyone, it's not always the non Mk1 people causing trouble)

Gonna be great yet again. Went last year and wanna go this year, but there's no engine in my '81 right now. Will anybody here be passing through central VA late Friday? Looking for a ride up to the show and seeing who wouldn't mind. Hell or high water I'm going, just wanna ask to hopefully save on borrowing/renting a car.

But yeah that show was great. First time I camped at the show too, so it was even better that last year when I was just there on bizness(AKA picking up a short block). Met some more GTD dudes, and saw some more again I've seen before. Love putting faces with names, and this year was no exception. Even helped fix a 'rocco after his wheel bearing failed; thank god Advance was open on Saturday. Great fun and can't wait until Madness 2013!!

WELP, the show happened again; everybody start yapping about it. This year was a hell of a lot of fun. We got drunk, played with too much lighter fluid, had glow stick fights, and popped balloons with lasers. Fortunately that girl wasn't there again this year so I didn't have to choke a 'bait. Friday night sucked though since it rained buckets, but that didn't stop nothing. Saturday was spent all kinds of wasted, taking naps between vom sessions until the big camp night. TrevorB actually let me ride in the 'Caddy', and he summoned the balls to drive my old Bus, which miraculously made it over 500 miles round trip without exploding violently. I also stole somebody's foot . . . well no I didn't. Can't wait for 2014.

yep it on my counter all nice n dry.. in the room i use ac so dehumidified in warm weather.. warm in winter.. all sealed like you packed it even.. 800 gets it.. who knows maybe by time i get the jackrabbit going ill buy to use.. but if someone has coin.. ill sell it.. belongs to vickeral still..

i have few simple rules on drinking....
1.) never by ones self... social only.. now if you have 1 beer or 1 mixed drink.. with dinner ok... but 2+ never... when you do... it snowballs and you become a abuser..
2.) never drive...
3.) i hate sick.. i really do.. drinking to that point.. its a waste..
next year.. ill teach you how to drink right... but hittin the hootch at 7am... again not good...
now as you know me and mary close friends.. but sofa stuff i need more of... maybe 5 of mine since i got home.. bowls not rolled... thats like 1/4 of my pre show usage... and those were rolled = 3x as much in size also.... i wish i knew what it was... but better then oxy type of crap imo...

we could just call him shrimp as he short like one.. or keibler like a elf.. sadly he keeps changing vs say mike2 or mr no-hair... he supposed to get me my aluminum tube for vr6t manifold btw.. he (mr no-hair) also knows people w/dynos and such... when we get close to dyno the vr6t.. ill let you know as i wanna put the toaster on it too.. and bet we can get ya a few runs..

Haha hey actually no matter how u look at it left or right the country really is in sad shape, some of it cant be helped poorer countries are catching up to us technologically and economically while at the same time we are totally over extending ourselves trying to fund and police the entire world using the taxed salaries of less than 5% of the worlds population.

Yeah totally agree, not to mention i have not really seen a reasonable explanation for the pictures of his brother naked and in custody. The cop was shot execution style they havent pressed charges for that or released footage, the guy was a boxing fan and said to have had a good chance of knowing tsarnaev. Well it is more than that, haha I work a seasonal job.. aka no holidays. I work from like mid-March until mid-December.
I will find a way down, hopefully next year.. maybe after that.. I trust you guys will be at every one ;)

I used to drive from NeOh to peterborough and NeOh to lake naiscoot when I was a kid both around 8 hours not bad drives at all. I should be more clear my pops and or Papa would be doing the driving. Hell I learned to drive in canada on the country roads around little old keene ontario.
