Title: weight of 96 Passat wagon?

Anyone know? I may be getting one. What are some of the weakspots for that model year with the TDI engine?

Don't know exactly how much they weighed,but they felt heavy. Solid though and fairly reliable. The only thing i found stupid were the front electric window winder mechanism. It's geared and would get chewed up. I would buy one if the price was right.

My ex ´96 TDI Sedan weighed 1370kg. Manual tranny without any options. Pretty strong car, only thing that cames to mind is rear wheel bearings. Those are same as mk1 so....
