Title: WTB MK1 Shifter weather seal boot-Late 82
Post by: 2strokesmoke on September 20, 2009, 11:46:56 pm
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a good shifter weather seal boot-late 82,with round cover plate on the bottom.
This is for a 82 VW pickup ,with 1.6NA & 5spd manual.
Agian,I'm looking for the late style, with round disc cover on the bottom.
I need the weather seal boot and disc cover.
I would prefer new(if available) but a nice used one would be ok too.
To clarify- this is the black boot that mounts on the bottom of the floor tunnel and protects the floor shifter assem from the elements.
I just finished replacing all the shifter bushings, links and ball and found my boot needs replacing as well.
Are these still available new ?
If so,can anyone recommend a good place to find one?
Thanks !
