Title: How fast have you gone in your mk4 tdi?
Post by: redneck_vdub on May 10, 2010, 10:20:31 pm: Hey guys, just wondering how fast you have gotten your Mk4 TDI's up to? How much boost your running and any other mods you got done? And also...how many little fart can hondas/toyotas you've smoked out?

To start things off, I've gotten mine up to 160 in 5th..bone stock....not for long :)

Post by: catlin_cava on May 11, 2010, 05:44:34 am: I went for a spin a week ago in a MK4 TDI 5 Speed, Modified Auto pump, Auto Injectors, Software mode, 2.5inch exhaust.

180 in 4th at 4500RPM. put it in 5th and it would still haul hard.

At a complete stop put it in first and let the clutch out for the car starts going, once the clutch is fully out floor it, takes a second or 2 for it to kick in. Spun completely threw first, into second, and shurpped the tires in 3rd. On the second attempt when the we hit second it snapped an axel lol.

mk4 tdi sport. 198k with lots more pull. If I had a 6spd box I could have done even more.

Post by: greentdi on August 16, 2010, 07:18:32 pm: Further than my speedo would go. I would guess 145-150mph. Speedo was straight down. I have a drw 6 speed but did not hit 6th until 135ish.
This was with a 180hp set up running 28psi.

So bone stock then your not talking mph.

CATLIN!!! lol and None...I used a downhilll to get my speed up but she held it going over the next hill...Left my dad in the minivan sitting on the highway lol

Cant wait for summer to come so i can see what she'll do on Mach out road (a long, straight, flat road ;D )

around 4K, and Yes it was...Passing Cars was just retarded....But I shouldnt be that pissy driver ever again loll
