Title: 1981 caddy td swap

ok , so I am swapping a 1996 td , into my 1981 caddy , what is the switch for on top of the injection pump on the 1996 tried to post  a pic bit it says to big ?

Hard to say without a picture. There are a lot of different versions of the AAZ out there with lots of minor differences, though they are mostly emissions related.

I swapped a 1996 TD into my Caddy also, but Giles did the pump. I don't remember a switch on the top though. This is the Giles pump. Do you see what you are talking about?
