Title: Mk3 TD AAZ Timing Belt Tensioner, which style tenssioner to use?

I notice on the parts sites listings, they list a spring tensioned timing belt tensioner for the timing belt on a AAZ 1.9 td engine. Its not a tdi.
028109243E I think this is the part number.
Is there an advantage to using this tensioner?
Can I safely use it?
Or should I just put on the old style tensioner with no spring tensioner built in?
