WTB Camshaft for 1.6 N/A Diesel
« on: June 27, 2007, 09:15:01 am »
I had a bad case of the stupids today and try to remove the 19mm bolt on the crankshaft to get the crankshaft pulley off, for a timing belt replacement. I used the bar that locks the camshaft down to hold it while i went hercules and destroyed the camshaft slot. Yes, I know now that I was supposed to just remove the 4 allen bolts. So I need a camshaft for a 1986 1.6 N/A Diesel. Let me know ASAP as I can't progress any further until I get one.

Thanks
Robert

Solid, i think it has a sticker on the cover that mentions adjusting every so many miles. I'm assuming the hydro ones aren't adjustable. i found a used one for $75 plus shipping, is that good?

You are correct. Although VCs are easy to swap.

Hydros have 2 oil returns
