PS.  On the way home a moose ran out and took off down the road in front of us and ran full speed into the ditch, tripped in a hole and totally landed on it's face and slid along the ground    I've never seen that before!! She didn't get hurt 'cause she bounce right up and ran off.

uhhh... i'm pretty sure that must've hurt some

I am trying to figure out the same thing on my 94 AAZ. every now and then she "runs right" and pulls really haRD!  But i do have some injector knock that I have been tryin to get rid of.

I ran diesel purge through it and it sounded so good runnin the pure purge, no knock!
but afterwards it came back.
I love the whistle......

your injectors might just be worn out?

if they dont atomize fuel properly, they will knock loud.

no the words bosch weren't on them
On a side note. I'd like to refresh my fuel system
I wouldn't mind opening up my pump and replacing rotor vanes, camplate, rollers etc.
None of this is hard at all.  Done lots of them in school. THe cool thing about these VE's is the only setting that isn't machined into them is LDA and internal pressure
I would just leave my pressure regulator where it is and measure afterwards.

MY big question. WHere can I buy the parts to redo a pump?

i am also getting in the 30 mpg range with my NA
but its a 4 speed idk if that matters but its also an 84 and im not sure if they came in 4 speeds?
anyways one of my injectors always has a red liquid around it, is this leaking fuel or something im not sure what it is or if its from something completely different
any help would be appreciated thanks
