Lowering MK3 questions KYB/Vogtland
« on: June 14, 2007, 12:01:11 am »
I want to lower my mk3 jetta and i have 17" rims 0 offset (i believe) and i am looking at a KYB gr-2 shocks and struts with vogtland sport springs 1.4 drop. Wondering about rubbing, what i should change on my car while im doing the suspension. Bearings/Bushing etc. Anyone used these struts/shocks with any lowered springs, also same for the springs, anyone used them, how are they?
this is the link to a desc of the struts/shocks and springs.

Where are you located? Check the vwvortex classifieds. You could get a better deal there. I picked up off a local guy (met up in Oakville) a set of KYB gr2's for a VR6 with Tien Springs. Complete with fresh Vr6 mounts, ready to install for $140...

You can easily find a decent deal on there.
