Has anyone had problems with the fan control module in the Golf IIIs? My fan gets really hot and won't turn when the thermoswitch closes. The fan actually smokes
. The fan works fine, I tested it out of the car.

Can the fan blades turn freely? My mk3 fan smoked and acutally melted while waiting at a drive though... then the heater core blew, YIPEE
