Hey well, good for him.  If you're lucky you only need one right?

I really like this set up, I just finished a NA diesel, need a Performance diesel, does the pump need to be from a TD? how bout the rods and slugs? I like the 1700cc Piston set up, what is the part #

I also spotted a gold tone set of headers in stainless, do you have to coat these to get this color or is this just a heat related change.

Is Giles a lower 48 rebuilder or Canadian resourse.

I just bought a condo, been moving furniture+stuff this week. Will be painting walls this weekend and then head out next week for our very last vacation before the baby's born. I'm remapping some local TDIs but I don't have a lot of time for anything else at this point. I'll get back to doing more Internerd stuff eventually.

FYI I might keep the 2006 Jetta, and I have a spare AAZ intake manifold that seems to be in good condition.

Hondo78: Giles is based in Eastern Canada but he serves customers worldwide. If you're sticking with NA diesel, you don't need a TD pump (which needs a boost tube to take advantage of the TD pump capabilities, i.e. it will fuel more based on air pressure). You can however substitute boost pressure with nitrous oxide pressure, which will justify a TD pump and it would be sweet. Maybe Passenger can create threads in the manifold for N20 jets for you.

For the time being you can run a Giles modified TD pump without boost, which could function just like his modified NA pump.

which is the difference with this type of intake manifold, if one compares with that of TDI150?

here a PD 150 intake, it is in the shape of shorts runner, what's the difference?

What parts of the intake manifold are ceramic coated?  Outside only? Lower half only?  Do you gasket match this to the head if the head is sent to you for porting?

Question answered, thanks Dave.  In and out, top to bottom.  Matched to head with port job.
