Transmission swap/shifter question

So. I'm toying with the idea of swapping out the transmission in the Dasher, while I'm in the "taking it apart to put it back together better" mode.

I'd be upgrading from a 4-speed to a 5-speed out of a Quantum (I measured, and the 5-cylinder with it's 5-speed that I already have won't fit. ), both for the taller 5th gear and the longer gear ratio spread, but my question is this: Can I use the 4-speed shifter setup with the 5-speed, or do I need to get the full shifter linkage package from a Quantum to go with it?

i would imagine needing to swap over the shifter linkage from the 5 speed.  the 4 speed linkage may be able to be modified for that extra little bit of movement, but it would be much easier to just find a 5 speed shifter box.
