Mine is there now. I got a call at 730 am ( I missed it ). I sent a letter with it explaining what I was doing with it...except what he wanted to know.. Boost level and intercooled or not. Real nice to talk to him.
For the US people...they charged him a $25 customs fee. Just remember that when you send it.

lol i can't believe canada customs are such pieces of crap ... charging him $25 dollars to receive a part to fix...
i would definitely keep that bill and get it written off come tax time
free trade!!!!!!!!!!

i must honestly say... that i would revoke their Canadian citizenship if i could do so. i think if you mark it as a commercial sample, there is no fee... then again... a dirty old pump isn't such a great commercial sample lol

I saw Giles in person last week, nice and BIG new shop, tons of space and tons of VW pumps all in a row to be worked on...
He has started with tdi M pumps, I am just waiting to find the right cores...

what kind of paint did you use??? any recommendations from anyone??? regular brake cleaner or degreaser as initial prep?
