Ok i am having thoughts about how to run a vnt. How the hell am i going to run it mechanically? I would love to do a vnt 20. Anyone have theres mechanically setup? For now I might just run a k24/k26 hybrid but i still want to do the vnt. So if someone could give me some ideas on how to do that, that would be cool. I think i saw somewere to use a regular wastegate actuator.
Thanks again and sorry for being a pain in the A$$

IMO that is your best option... your foot controls how much the vanes open/close, but when the boost level you want is reached, the wastegate counteracts to reduce the boost. very neat setup!
getting it tuned properly is a whole other story !

I had read the posts on how that was done, but I was imagining it as being so much more complex. The vid really helped see just how simple it is. Too bad I can't use it though. For off-road, I want max possible boost at low throttle. I'll have to think about. There must be a way that would be easily swithable.

They are my videos
Now, I modified my system, with a second vacuum actuator activated by electric switch in my car, to put the turbo in full boost mode if I need

Which gauge is which? You have an exhaust press. and an intake press. gauge right?
I made small video to show how a VNT20 that spool quickly
How did you tune all that? guess and check?

Looks more like boost pressure and exhaust temp. And thats one of the bigger vnt's  with lots of fuel and boost from those vnt's it must be hard on the bottom end.I prefer to have the wastegated slug that protects my engine form too much power too to early in the rpm .

After watching that I have no doubt I could run a VNT-25, and it would probably spool as quick as a standerd T3, esspetially if i did a sweet hybrid using a gt25r ball bearing center section.
