there's nothing with a VW symbol on it, let alone a diesel in the local pick and pulls...so i turn to you to help me make a little more HP
anyway i need the whole setup exhaust and intake manifolds, the turbo, oil lines, an oil pan with the return bung, downpipe, oil cooler
so if you have this stuff, or it is at your boneyards then tack on a little finders fee and hook a dubber from the barren south up
cheers,
Ryan

I can find most of cheaply, but the shipping down to you will probably cost as much as the parts. Let me know what your willing to spend, I have oil pans, turbo feed oil lines, manifolds, oil cooler set up, that kind of stuff, k14 turbo.

Shipping is not too bad for a complete TD conversion kit. It all depends on how you package it. I think the last one I sent out was $100 for shipping. The turbo and exhaust manifold are the most expensive to ship, everything else is relativly light

honestly most of the time i order parts for it i end up spending as much if not more on shipping than the parts, drives me crazy but at the same time i think it is really cool cause i am the only one driving one of these damn things down here i guess its the price i pay for not living in the PNW or Canada, i think i spent close to $100 shipping my pump to Giles and back
anyway i honestly don't know what a fair price is but i hope it's not more than a couple hundred

I have enough parts to put together a kit for you. A turbo might be the only problem. I'll know when I pull it

Here is a rundown of what I have found,
oil pan, nice decent shape $10
exhaust manifold trapeziod turbo outlet (K14/24/t3) $40
intake manifold $10
valve cover $10
breather hose and spaceship $10
intake hose and air box assembly $20
K14 turbo $100
oil cooler $20
coolant rubber lines needed to install oil cooler $20
oil feed line $40
oil drain I only have a rusted one, it could be epoxied...free
I think that is everything needed, I could do a package for $250 for everything no problem, I can even include a mk3 downpipe section that you could weld to your system (broken at flex).
Shipping would run $100 range I think, if this is in your budget get back to me

you are forgetting the oil filter flange, unless it is included with the heat exchanger/oil cooler

I'd run a real external oil cooler, like a Volvo unit on a n/a block.

I got a good laugh out of that.....
Turbo diesel parts are really scarce here but there is plenty of gas stuff. The bottom line with these things is really that whatever you need is always somewhere else.....that is unless you live in Ontario. Then whatever you need is rusted out.

Sigh
Makes for lots of parts cars though
