Stupid question...

How much fuel should shoot out of the pump if I take the line off and crank like a bugger for 10 seconds?

it should be very little i believe, i read on here someones (Andy2 i think) 12mm pump turned up and on full load puts out 105ccs and thats per 1000 injections. so your car turning over say 250 rpm with pump full throttle for 10 sec gives you around 20 injections = 2.1 cc not alot of fuel. if this was just regular cranking with no throttle then it must be much much less than that.

Ok, maybe I'm not totally shafted then.

In a nutshell, my car stopped dead in it's tracks on the way home from getting some groceries last night and threw no codes I've tried everything I can think of that is obvious but...maybe someone else has ideas.

Here's what I've done so far:
I pounded a socket on to the special bolt to make a "special tool" and I can move the adjuster freely and it tries to rest back at the stop with a good spring action (hope that makes sense).

I got some exercise with my brother who is here for his college march break pushing it back from the mall Half way home though some guys from work pulled us back (that tow hook really works!).

I also checked the case pressure relief valve and the fix has stayed since the last time I expanded the black bushing.

Checked my filters, (my electric pump still pumps through the output of the filters fine.

TB appears to be tight and no chafed up or anything.

Checked for loose wires on the pump harness, it appears to be fine.  The fuel shutoff solenoid is also functioning.  I changed the relay 109 for good measure with the new updated black on I had in the trunk.

Any further ideas would be appreciated.
