• I am thinking about buying a 93 Passat .The car is out of town so I cannot view it .The owner claims it has a 2 Liter turbodiesel .I have not heard of these,Is this a 1.9 td or a tdi .When did they start making the tdi ?Thanks

• 1.9TD 'IDI' indirect injection. not a TDI. AAZ engine code probably?
