I've finally gotten my motor put back into my rabbit, and I'm having some issues with it. I took everything off of the engine and cleaned/painted it. I removed the fuel pump and did the governor mod to it. I got the car running, and it idles, but when I touch the throttle, it dies. I purchased the dial guage to time the pump, but when I try to follow what to do in the Bentley, I get lost (I think it's step 3, where you have to back if off and preload the indicator). I'm unsure how to do it, but I'm not sure if that's the problem or not.
The pump is lined up with the backet and the pin was inserted, and the engine timing is perfect. Any suggestions?
