Asking about manifolds

Alright

this post is really for a buddy of mine in our local vw community...
he has a 1.9TDI, and he's got his CEL on because his intake is gummed up and I had heard about the dieselgeek racepipe EGR pipe...

apparently he said this wont work on his engine, could any other intake bolt up so he could either eliminate the EGR?

just a thought, sorry I dont have any more information on his engine code.

anyone know the differences between the 1.6NA and the 1.6TD heads?
