If you asked for a 1.6L pump capable of high fuel delivery, it'll likely include the 1.9L pump's cam plate, which is fairly expensive.Also, he's now doing mods that are several stages beyond what was being done when this post was originally written. The course of pump mods continues to evolve! :twisted:If you have a clear idea of your objective, you can discuss exactly how far you want to go with the pump. He's recently done a couple pumps that were ordered for "max fuel!" and learned afterwards, they were being installed on engines using less than 15 psi boost. Way overkill. I have a feeling that nobody really has a clear idea of just how much fuel he can get these VE pumps putting out. It's a huge increase, and can support 30+ psi! Needless to say, if you're not running that much boost, it's pointless to pay for the mods done to achieve that level.I guess what I'm trying to say is make sure you know what you want to accomplish before ordering a pump. And don't forget to let him in on it too.
