Wanted: A2 Non-AC Alternator Pulley

Hi guys,
I need a single belt alternator pulley for my 1992 Golf. The one I currently have on the car is a two-piece affair that is too narrow for the usual 13 mm wide belt. I'm not too sure what the mechanic was thinking when he put it on but a one-piece pulley is what I'd like to get. The one on my brothers non-ac 89 golf looks to be about perfect but he uses his car.  Wreckers won't sell me a pulley unless I buy an alternator.  The same goes with Crappy Tire...
