This is the car in my signature, its been good to me and I have tried to return the favour.  I was planning an eventual engine swap and started to look for an alternate vehicle to drive while that happened.  Ended up with a great deal on TDI Passat, so thats going to be my daily now.
Jetta has great body and interior.  Runs strong, does burn oil like the add says.  IP started weaping a bit out of rubber boot recently.  I rigged up a drain to under car to protect hoses.   Driven 90km+ daily, ultra reliable.  I'd leave tomorrow on a cross continent trip with every expectation of making it, as long as I didnt let it run out of oil.

$2500 for car obo .  I have a low mileage rebuilt 1.6 td , tranny, turbo, 1.6 and 1.9 TD IPs, GTD intercooler, new clutch, refinished 210mm flywheel, new oil pump, new glow plugs, belts, gaskets, spare alternator, starter, manifolds...... Everything you need to put together a complete tranny/engine package to drop in.  If you buy the car I will make you a screamin deal on the parts.  Parts not for sale until car sells.

I have heard it is not that expensive to have a drivable car shipped cross-country.  ie drivable on and off truck/train.   The Candian $ is down a bit this week.

buy this car, I wanna drive my TDI and I'm starting to think about fixing this one up some more to sell.  I don't need another project!
