What would I expect to pay for a rebuilt pump, and injectors for a 1.6TD? :?:

I was at Henniger Diesel in Sudbury last week and got a quote of 500 minimum to rebuild an NA pump. 350 for labour, 150 for a seal/bushing/gasket kit. The kit doesn't include any major parts such as the cam plate. The mech even gave me an input shaft seal for free.

Typical "flat rate" to disassemble and reassemble and calibrate a pump is $400cdn. No hard parts (camplate, rollers, plunger, transfer pump etc.) are replaced during a "rebuild" unless they show wear, in which case you will be charged extra for those parts. A normal rebuild consists of replacing the seals and gaskets and recalibrating the pump. Genuine bosch injector nozzles go for about $30-40cdn each. Not sure what installation would cost.

Bosch VE seal kit is ~$16 (no bushings), I got off ebay, from Fuel injection specialties, or name something similar, I bought several sets But I haven't installed yet, as only have had one leaker (cold start - ez fix)

last nozzles I bought were ~$8. USD (Bosch, nozzle only) rebuilt injectors are $28 USD exchange
