can some pump gurus tell If theres any harm using an LDA top from a Land Rover discovery 2.5 TDI Inj Pump, It fits perfectly on the VW golf pump except that it does not have a seperate idle governor setup.
upon opening the LDA top I found that the aneroid pin is far more aggressive than the golf pin.
I also have the Land Rover governor spring capsule. it has harder springs in it and is the same length as the VW one.
