The downpipe is for mk1 td's the reason it is cheaper than normal is that the welds aesthetics are not as nice as I would like, thats not too say the welds are weak, these welds won't break, its just I have really upped the QC checks so everynow and than especially when I work allt hrough the night something isn't perfect and I don't feel it should go for the same price the really nice stuff does.
The camshaft has a coupl minor grooves in the cam bearing journals, nothing to worry about, but again its not perfect and doesn't meet the QC check. This is still a great camshaft and if I had a 1.6 or 1.9td I wouldn't hesitate to throw on either of these items and run them as they are. Pictures of both to come, I'd like to sell these soon as I will be moving the shop in the near future. $330CAD shipped in canada or the U.S.

How does the cam effect mileage? If it's good how much for just the cam?

I usually see a 1-2mpg increase in fuel economy if everything else is kept the same, this of course usually doesn't last because the cam lets you run more fuel, which means more power, who can resist!
I'll take $170 shipped for the cam, no core.
$160 for the DP shipped.

I think its reasonable, the performance is still the same, the quality is good but they just arent as pretty as usual, but really I bet the average guy wouldn;t even notice, I am just getting more anal about the products here

I'm not knocking it at all, just posting the price differances for people who don't have time to look at your site, or who don't know about it
