Yep, but sometimes it's worth it just to do a "purge" in the garage. I have 3 people in line for the turbo @ $50. If they don't take it, I'll ask $100 for it or save it for a spare.

I also have this:
It's an adapter plate to mount a VW watercooled engine into a Vanagon or aircooled VW. It's set up to use a VW quantum or fox flywheel & automatic starter.



Also have a 69 Porsche 911T magnesium engine case., from a dry & leak free engine:

The more I look at the pistons, the more I'm on the fence about them. They have some scuffing, and I'd hate to send them out to someone only to have them be dissapointed.

At the same time, I've certainly reused worse. I think I'll post more pics tonight and see what people here think. I could always just save them for the 1.6 in my samurai

I'd like to get $100 for it. That's less than I paid 2-3 years ago, but I have a hard time justifying keeping it hung on the wall as a garage ornament
