Namely, 5 piston oil jets. New, used, point me to a source... I'd be very much appreciative. Just sold the '71 Square to finance this turbodiesel conversion of the Syncro.
Also, even though I know it's a long shot, I'm in the market for a VNT turbo; ideally a 17 or 20, but I can make do just fine with a VNT-15 I think. Again new, used, source... I'm on a bit of a budget, or I'd just drop for a brand new '20 from KERMA.
I won't know for sure until I start opening it up whether I need new pistons or not... I really hope not...
Turbinepowered, go find an early '80s Audi turbo-gas engine. They supposedly used the same piston oil jets. You can also pull other parts off of it to help your conversion like the oil filter housing, intake and exhaust manifolds, etc. You might even want the turbo itself, since that engine was rated at something like 130HP.
I have a 5 cyl tdi intake manifold if interested
