Hi
my names Paul and I'm from the UK.
I drive a Mk1 golf 1.6 NA diesel which is a great run around, if a little on the slow side :lol: , it is soon to have an engine swap for a 1.6 intercooled turbo diesel from a 1990 mk2 golf GTD,SB engine code. Having been searching round for info, specs, tips and advice etc. I stumbled across this site which looks to be exactly what I'm looking for!!
I'm am a member of Club GTI (easily the UKs biggest watercooled VW club - you may know it?) and post on the forum, but no one really knows too much about TIDI diesel tuning, and having read through a lot of posts on this site already you guys seem to have the knowledge!
I have several questions already but I'll post them as separate threads.
I think that'll be it for now! :D

welcome paul. did the UK get diesel mkIs? i had someone tell me they didn't... did you import that one, or are they just very rare on the island and you found one?

Start off by using the search function with key words like LDA, downpipe, rev limiter, giles, propane, nitrous, etc.
