96 bad electrical proble. need help :(

thanks for all the help guys.

the problem was a loose positive battery connnector.

who would have thought all this craziness would be do to a loose battery connector.

I'm not too suprised actually.  A few months ago my brother took his Neon in and they fiddled with the spark plug wires or air filter or something.  They ended up not clamping the battery wires on tightly, and it caused him a LOT of problems for a couple of weeks until he figured out what was going on.

i am really thankful i am able to post mechanical problems and get different opinions from people who have the same car. this is such a valuable tool.
