When you tune a (electronic) 1.9TDI, you can go till something like 200hp with stock turbo (gt1749vb), if you want more, you need to go for a bigger turbo, some guys tried a gt2052v, but it spools very bad.
when guys on this forum put the gt2052v on a 1.9TDI-m/TD is spools very good.
Can someone explain this? (or correct me if i'm wrong  )

Look at this video, normal shifting 1,2,3,4, towards the end, i put the accelerator on the floor ........ boost instantaneously.
http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid=2328693919539972270&hl=frI have a 12mm pump head with .240 nozzle, with 10mm pump head and smaller nozzle, the boost reaction is slower, but it is acceptable.
The TDI electronics won't allow a lot of fueling until boost pressure is present, and a large turbo requires alot of fuel (and some off-boost smoke) to produce boost quickly. Sort of a catch 22 situation.
A custom map that allowed a good amount of smoke off boost would help, thats what the mechanical pump guys do...

Yeah smaller nozzle's, but the guys who put a bigger turbo also have the bogger nozzle's. (i dont think there is any difrence in the punger & head for this discussion)
QuickTD, sounds good theory, but i wonder the electronics are so good secured.
I heard saying from a professional tuner, a 1.9TDI with a GT2052v should start making boost on 3000-3500rpm.
