fiat ducato 2.5 td (1991) plunjer size?
« on: October 31, 2006, 05:05:52 am »
Hi!

i can obtain a pump from a fiat ducato 2.5 td from 1991. Does anybody know the plunjer size or bosch serial number of this pump? I know the recent models have a 11mm plunjer but i am not certain if the old one has?

Thanks!

Ruben

i think its 11mm
i think the fiat ducato got a psa (peugout, citroen) engine
i think the psa is a left rotating engine.

i did some research
fiat number: 4808492
this is a PSA engine, i think a right rotating, instead of my previous post.

when you google it, i can find the pump 0460494189 wich is a 9mm

http://www.vepump.cn/CZB.htm
when you search with the number on this page you can find a 9mm

The 0 460 494 189 VE4/9F2100R (right turn) is for ducato 2.5 ''D''  no turbo......

Fiat Ducato 10, 12, 14, 18 Maxi, 2x4 and 4x4, 1990 a 1994 2.5 TD,  use a 0 460 414 081 VE4/11F1900R (right turn)

Ducato 2.5 TD 1994 a 1998 (0 460 414 091) use a same came plate that the TDI 90hp 1Z/AHU.

Thanks for the reply both!  but i prefer the answer of tin-tin :). Since this a 11mm plunjer and right rotating it will do on a vw tdi (except for the cam plate maybe)?

Grtz,

Ruben
