Strage Injector leak at high rpms

I've had this crazy issue I've been trying to figure out, I am leaking at the return lines from the injectors, seems to generally happen only at higher revs..
Here are a few facts..
-Have all new return line hose (the right kind w/ yellow stripe)
-New injectors (not leaking between the halves)
-Metal lines are tight
-Seems to start with #4 and move to #3, #2 etc.
-Lift up seems hood insulation is getting sprayed, meaning it's really releasing some pressure (not just dribbling).
Wondering if a plugged fuel filter could cause excess return/tank pressure and it's being released here?
Anybody got a guess?

Clogged return line perhaps? Try blowing it out with compressed air

Is that common?

Plugged fuel filter wouldn't affect the return line.
There should be a valve in your return line down by the tank though (depending what yr/model car you have) and they've been known to stick.
Check by taking the fuel cap off & blowing down your return line towards the tank.
The cold fuel bypass or whatever it's called that returns warmed fuel to the filter doesn't send it all to the filter, so even if it's stuck in the wrong position you'll just be recirculating some warmer fuel than normal. There's a little thermal disc inside that allows some fuel to be drawn back into the filter when it's cold.

I blew the return line out.. Seemed clear. I don't recall seeing any valve in the return line at all...

What year is your car, on my 87 it was on top of the tank very close to the sender unit assembly.
Moot point however if you're getting flow through the line.
If your lines between injectors, to the pump, and back to the filter are in good shape, correctly routed, unobstructed & not kinked, I'm out of ideas.

Plus it only happens at high revs..
perhaps the fittings at the metal lines are leaking? It seems to get everywhere when it does leak... which makes' me believe there's pressure behind it..

my injector return lines started leaking a while ago... just remember that once you take one off, you cant just put it back on. you need to use new hose, as it will never seal like before. changed them and all was good. maybe that was because of ULSD too?

Well, I ordered viton lines for it. I'll put those on and see what happens, if it still leaks I'll have to believe it's at the metal lines or the injector halves..
I'll report back when I do some testing..

had this happen me when i had my 1.6NA got some new lines and still leaked a little bit, ran some injector cleaner for diesels through it and it never leaked again. I figured it wasent my injector but something small in my lines and the cleaner was enough to flush it out.

Where did you order your lines from?

here is the link to the viton tubing..
http://www.mcmaster.com/asp/enter.asp?partnum=5119K791So, the real problem was that I had a teeny tiny microscopic hole in my steel line... I reved the engine really hard it idle and could see this inkling of a mist coming form the hole, so I marked where it was by scratching the line with a nail, and I took the lines off and wire wheeled them silly and then got the mig welder out on it's lowest settings and get really really lucky.. Puts it back together and no leaky..
Wild, I've never even dreamed that was possible, btw, my lines are clean, there was no visible rust on then anywhere..
