ARGH! Where can I get a governor shaft NUT! NEED HELP!!!!
« on: October 06, 2006, 12:43:19 pm »
Looking for the 10mm nut that goes on the governor shaft. It's a 10mm super fine "reverse" thread nut. It's for an MK1 TD Bosch VE pump.

I have gone to about 3 different bolts & supply shops with no luck. Supposedly the reverse/left handed thread nuts are very hard to find.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

You MK1 Governor shaft nut looks like my Mk2 nut.

MK2 pump with Altitude compensator:

Mk1 Pump Normally Aspirated:

Which are you looking for?
I can definitely spare one for the MK1 pump, but not the MK2.

I would do a web search and see if you can find any online suppliers.
