Thanks for the info. 10mmx 30mm Hex head right? Anyone have any idea what the pitch would be?
For your belt problem, I have never had a problem with WP/AC belt on that set up. My problem has always been ALT belt related. I was able to add a spacer behind ALT pulley to align the pulley with idler tensioner pulley and that held for 25,000 miles+ (better than <2500 previously). Also have heard a lot about the bearing for idler pulley (6202-RS). You sure that something with your ALT belt setup is not putting unnecessary tension on AC which is causing WP/AC belt to wear prematurely? Just a thought.
Forgot to mention, also make sure those Hex bolts that allow the AC to pivot are nice and tight... They are a pain to get to and sometimes never get tightened properly, which causes the AC move/vibrate and eventually loosenes the WP/AC belt.
Well I changed the belt yet again. Made all the bolts extra tight. Much tighter than I ever have, and marked the position of the compressor with a sharpie. We'll see what happens, but fortunately it's getting cooler out around here so hopefully I wont need to use the a/c much. Wish me luck.

main reason I got my a/c working again was for the defog
I had to pull my car over one cold morning coming back from work because of sun glare :x

Just wondering if you had part # for bolt #39 and nut #40 on that diagram. Any dimensions for these parts? 10mm?
Thanks
39 is N10036601 M8X32
40 is N01100830 M8
