Air filter restriction indicator?
I'm amazed how many have tripped up over cm water not being pressure
What is a cm gauge doing being made in Iowa? Were they selling stuff to the English speaking French?
Remember its 0.85psi FSD
So is it cm of water vacuum or cm of water pressure? Could go either way. Air filter restriction is generally measured in inches of water vacuum. Natural gas pressure is also expressed in inches of water, but it's pressure.
It's pressure; andalthough it looks aircraftish I'm finding that Marshalltown is known for its life support incubators and some have alarms set to 7 to 13 cm of water.
So it'll have to be Quantum cabin pressure
Might be suitable for ram air system testing. Or like you had mentioned previously, fit a pitot and change the scale to read in mach numbers, might alarm the odd passenger...
"Aircraftish" usually means "mounts with 4 screws around the face". Thats more of a lab instrument you've got there.
Marshalltown is also famous for drywall/cement trowels and knives, can't imagine it's the same company, though they do make a nice trowel...
