I just purchased a parts car for my 92 jetta. It is a 86 jetta. The question I have is there are 2 switches on the throttle on the top of the injector pump that my 92 doesn't have. What are these for? Is there any other problem I may have with swapping these engines? The rest looks the same.

Thanks,
Wayne

I have the same two switches on my fuel pump and I believe they were for the upshift and downshift light on the old speedometer.

I've heard those have something to do with cruise or something. I have them on my car but I don't think they are hooked up.
