Non-turbo head onto a turbo motor question

sometime ago I read on this forum that after a certain year all heads were the same and interchangable..would this also apply to the valves...if possible I was going to put my 86 N/A head onto my 86 turbo block and I am concerned if the N/A valves can take the heat, etc.

just make sure you use a 12mm head, my dad has a n/a head on his turbo diesel and hasn't had any problems, but he did put turbo diesel valves in it... i would suggest doing that, but who knows how necessary it is...
