Hi!
My engine needs new injectors (410000km!!).
Does the injectors from the GTD drop right in to the AAZ engine?
(1993 MKII Jetta.....called Vento in Norway

)
Can I expect some change in performance?
Sorry for my bad English!
Tor
The nozzles will, but the earlier 1.6's had single spring injectors. The AAZ uses dual spring injectors which changed the location of the injector line unions.
I have installed these nozzles (DNOSD 274)
Milage is 5.8-5.9l/100 km. summer time mix city and hwy ,
before 6.1-6.3l/100 km .
Winter is 6.0-6.1l/100 km
before 6.4-6.6l/100 km
More power + beter performance .
I would say not bad stuff, try it.

I'am driving 1993 passat td 1.9 345000 km
with intercooler , k-24 , boost controler ,
DNOSD 274 nozzles ,mod pump by Gilles ,
and fuel magnet MAKSOR.
I will keep you updated abaut magnet.
Chris
My engine has PiperX "in the box" filter, open exaust, no cat. 1bar boost and adjusted pump......I have a diferent pump with the governor mods done but I have not have time too put it on yet.
I`m going to install a FMIC too.
Uhhh... Fuel Magnet? does that even work?
It'll keep the metal filings out of your injection pump...

lol... would be great until they start to clog up the line hehe..
I think I might try my own idea of each injector line with the cheaper high powered non ceramic magnets from ebay (i will be the guinea pig and see if I find better mileage).
So many people say good things about it, and in theory I can somewhat believe a magnetic field (powered by some sort of reactor  ) can re-arrange molecules to burn more efficiently.
I am simply going to play mythbuster on this one and prove or disprove it! Then submit my request to the actual myth busters show!
Does it work?
Guys , ask Gilles for his opinion .He drove my car today.
hi guys
yes i drove chris' car yesterday and was very pleased to see it allot
quieter than normal and definetly very peppy.
no smoke too.
drives just like a gasser and almost as quiet.
pulls really well from 2500-5000 no prob.
Giles
can't tell about the fuel mileage yet but chris will keep everyone
up to date.
the dyno plots from the magnet manufacurer showed a gain of around
7HP at the wheels from an Accord 2.2L
what I would like to know is. Do they have a secret way of placing the magnets?? or can I just buy some super strong ones off ebay and get the same results?
well im not buying those magnets off ebay... at the very most I will create my own powerful magnet using the car battery and see where that gets me. permanent magnets do not release any energy and therefore cant possibly work (unless there is some sort of metal in the fuel).
ok well I think that this may possibly work on our diesels because the motor vibrates so damn much! the kinetic energy and vibrations might be what make these magnets work?
I try this already . I bought CHEAP magnets and install them before fuel pump, but my car was just a bit quieter and that is all.
There is no secret place for magnets , instal them before fuel pump.

This is called the placebo effect. There is nothing in the fuel for a magnet to affect.
They don't "line up the molecules" or anything of the sort.

They have a secret way of placing them, but the only thing it effects is the money in your wallet.
Here is the place to get magnets.
http://unitednuclear.com/magnets.htmI like the warnings for the big ones at the bottom of the page.
" If carrying one into another room, carefully plan the route you will be taking. Computers & monitors will be affected in an entire room. Loose metallic objects and other magnets may become airborne and fly considerable distances - and at great speed - to attach themselves to this magnet. If you get caught in between the two, you can get injured."
BTW, I think Mythbusters already tested magnets, which of course did absolutely nothing.
