1.6td mf block injection pump
« on: November 08, 2022, 09:39:43 pm »
I'm having some issues with my injection pump. It sat with water in it and has some rust.

Is there a different pump, maybe from a newer engine that's easier to find that will work for this unit?

I'm also having issues getting the pully off, so I might have to cut that.  Any input would be appreciated

Any bosch rotary from a 1.6 VW diesel will work.
Have you tried a gear puller on the sprocket?

Does this include NA pumps? Just to avoid confusion because they are easier to find at junkyards, etc

Right, you can use an NA pump.
It will smoke more before boost kicks in.
