2013 TDI Golf Exhaust wiring issues
« on: March 01, 2022, 02:13:25 pm »
A few months ago, I drove my TDI over something in the road, and it pulled down the wiring to my exhaust and particulate temp sensor.

I didnt realize this, but they were dragging along the road for some time, until they and the connectors got mangled and the wires are all loose.  is this as simple a fix as just soldering the wires back together and shrink coating them?  Does it matter which way the 2 wire (was an orange connector) is connected back up?  Can I purchase new pigtails for quick connect next time I need to work on it?

The computer put me in limp mode now that they are not connected.  Can anyone help me figure this out?  FYI, this car was purchased after the "fix" for the exhaust from the dealer.

Thank you so much everyone in advance!  This is my first post here.

Thank you!

Have you checked out TDIclub.com?

You may get a quicker response. Just a thought.

Very knowledgeable people over there on newer TDIs.
