1984 Base 2dr Rabbit diesel - NJ

Base 2dr Rabbit diesel, 226k miles with the 4 speed E-gear, driven regularly up until two weeks ago when it got stuck in third gear. Not a show car, mechanicly maintained, rust prevention was also done. It has NO options other than the alloy wheels. A nice canvas for a project or have simple silly fun with it like I did for ten years.
new/rebuilt parts in the last 5 years. Injection pump, rack & pinion (manual), ball joints, control arms, tie rods, Bosal exhaust.
This year I did the water pump, timing belt & tensioner pulley. And bits pieces over the years.
asking $1500 but do not hesitate to give me an offer.
