Dasher AC question
« on: September 01, 2019, 08:55:38 pm »
I have a 1980 2door hatch, 1.5d. I'm curious why it needed to have two condensers for the AC? The smaller on that is not in front of the radiator cracked at the inlet (or outlet idk) on the passenger side due to my lazy ADD self not reattaching the bracket to the line. This happened 9 years ago. Im just now finding the motivation to fix it, and can't find a replacement condenser. I thought about just making new hoses or using a universal one and adapting to it. Before the condenser broke I had 40* at the center vents after completely refurbishing the AC. My 99 suburban only gets down to 65* and that's a whole lot more gas.
