This is a running 1.6 NA diesel engine I pulled from our 82 camper when I did the TDI conversion. Odometer had 90 K when I pulled it. It has been stored in the back of my shop for all these years. The original vanagon oil pan and oil pump were lost at some point. To keep the shop out of the block I installed a pan from golf.
What you see in the pictures is what you get. No warranty expressed or implied. The buyer will need to swap their oil pan and oil pump to use this engine. You'd want to replace the timing belt as well.
Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. I can secure to a pallet and load on a truck. This engine could get your diesel powered vanagon or other NA diesel vehicle going again, or could be a spare engine if you have the space to store it.
